After the sucess of our first event on Understanding Anxiety, we would love to welcome parents and carers to join us for our next Parent Engagement Event, aimed at equipping parents and carers of Secondary students with the tools and information to learn good habits and develop effective study skills.
Our guest speaker for the evening is Head of Secondary Mr Steve Lobsey.
Steve is the Head of Secondary at Â鶹ÊÓƵ and has served as a Head of Department, Year Advisor, and Leading Teacher in a range of schools across NSW. With a career that began in 1997, he has a long-standing passion for supporting HSC students and is a Senior HSC Marker in Business Studies, with experience across multiple subjects.
Steve has a passion for neuroscience, metacognition and cognitive load theory; and enjoys sharing how an understanding of these can help build stronger learning and help students thrive.
